George Nomikos

George Nomikos is an experienced Research & Systems Engineer in Telecommunications & Networks Lab, FORTH since 2014.

His research activity has focused on Internet topology in terms of routing, network monitoring and security objectives. He has been involved as a research and software engineer in several research projects in the fields of (1) orchestrating and deploying advanced networking measurements in the AS-, IXP- and Facility-level, (2) network performance evaluation with respect to network resilience, path latency and redundancy principles and big data and (3) statistical analysis.

He is currently working as an Internet ╬ťeasurement specialist responsible for designing and building networking systems to address emerging challenges in inter-domain routing, security and performance related areas.
